Kevin Reeder was a consultant to the Planning Grant team, whom we called our anthropometric right arm due to his expertise in storyboarding. His experience with industrial design for juveniles and his research focus on anthropometrics helped to shape and scale our exhibit events. Reeder is Associate Professor of Industrial Design at Georgia Tech with a background in anthropometrics, and interactive children's exhibits. He received a BSID from the Ohio State University and an MA from Stanford University. He has had the good fortune to practice as an Industrial Designer in corporate as well as consulting offices and has developed products ranging from digital carpenter's level to ophthalmic laser equipment to juvenile products. He has been awarded five patents and his work is retained in the Smithsonian Institute Museum of American History.
