Gyroscope, Inc. will consult with the project team, reviewing and commenting on the evolving concept, helping the team develop displays that are effective, consistent with best practice, and durable. Chuck Howarth and Justine Roberts, principals at the firm and experienced exhibit developers will personally consult with the team. Howarth is a museum educator and planner with over 25 years of experience in museum management, master planning, and program development. He is Principal for Museum Planning at Gyroscope and has created Experience Master Plans for many projects, including SciencePort in Woodbridge, VA; The Leonardo in Salt Lake City; and the Tech Museum of Innovation in San Jose, among others. Roberts heads Gyroscope’s east coast office in Boston and serves as one of the firm’s senior exhibit developers and education specialists. At Gyroscope, Justine has served as the exhibit developer for the Chicago Children’s Museum where she guided the renovation of current galleries and coordinated the project team for Standards of Excellence, an early childhood benchmarking study published by the Association of Children’s Museums.
